- I am Anthony Powers, a professional animator. Seeking self expression, I carry my soul through space and time. Stumbling about, I come across some picnic baskets and lollipops. Taking a chance, I peek into their murky depths. Using passion as my vehicle the world opens its arms.

3D Walk Cycles
I just started working on my 3D character animation. Im liking it a lot more than I thought I would, the rig was provided for us by the teacher so I get to just relax and animate. So far Im stuck doing boring walk cycles and stuff, but soon Ill be able to go all out. Im thinking of making a little movie with this guy, there is so much potential with these 3D programs. I could put a 2D background behind him maybe, I just wanna have fun haha.

Day 1 Stop-Motion Class Experiment
I started school the other day, this is an exercise from me and my classmates in stop-motion class. Gabrielle has it with me, hers is in here too. This is everybody's first attempt, so expect us all to get much better. By the end of the semester I should have a full short movie finished using this stuff, about 1 minute or so, full on intense action extravaganza live from heaven. Should be fun.

Picnic Baskets & Lollipops #3 - Kentucky Hills
Page 1
Page 2

This is about a night I stayed in Kentucky. I was on a road trip to florida with Gabrielle this past summer, on the way down we stayed in a nice small college town called Williamsburg. I decided to go and adventure at 1 in the morning without telling anybody where I was going. I ended up getting hopelessly lost and I didnt bring my cell phone or any money with me. I ended up not getting back until 5:30 with Gabrielle sleeping peacefully totally unaware haha. I was on rollerblades and the hills were very steep, It was hard to control my speed when going down some of them, it was really scary. I nearly fell into a street with cars zipping past. It was a good experience though and I learned a lot about the city haha. I really like Kentucky, I want to go back.

Picnic Baskets & Lollipops #2 - Explosions in the Outfield
Last night I went to a free party at a bar with my sister Jessie and her friends. Gabrielle my girlfriend came with me. It was a good time, we played a lot of arcade games while finishing a few pitchers of beer. Gabrielle was actually on my team for the beer pong, she really got 4 in a row it was amazing. I only sank 2 while she got the rest, we won of course. Its fun being 21, playing beer pong in a bar and blowing that shit to pieces.

Picnic Baskets & Lollipops #1 - Rest in Peace Satoshi Kon
Satoshi Kon was a very influential anime film director. His works include Perfect Blue, Millenium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika, and Paranoia Agent. A true master, his unique vision helped inspire me to create my own cartoons and follow my heart. He died during his prime at the age of 46, he was working on a new movie called The Dream Machine, its unclear if it will be finished posthumously. After hearing the news, I just sat around the house all day watching his movies, bringing me to tears.
